Procurement & MEAL Advisory · South Africa
Smart services. Strategic procurement. Lasting impact.
Kirona Consultancy helps organisations improve procurement performance and programme impact through two complementary advisory practices: procurement advisory and MEAL advisory.

“Integrated procurement and MEAL advisory services for organisations seeking stronger governance, better evidence and measurable results across East and Southern Africa.”
Procurement Advisory
Strengthening sourcing, supplier management, compliance and procurement governance, from category strategy through to contract audit, while improving cost control and operational resilience.
Explore procurement services →MEAL Advisory
Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning support that strengthens programme performance, demonstrates measurable impact and meets donor and regulatory expectations.
Explore MEAL services →Why one partner, two practices
Public entities and donor-funded organisations are almost always judged on both counts at once: whether money was spent compliantly, and whether it delivered results. Kirona covers both under one roof.
Practical, not theoretical
Our work combines hands-on implementation support with compliance knowledge and evidence-led decision-making, built for the realities of operating in South Africa and beyond.
Built around South African compliance
From PFMA and PPPFA to POPIA and SAMEA standards, every service is shaped around the frameworks our clients are actually held to.

About Kirona
Two disciplines, one accountable partner
Kirona Consultancy helps organisations improve procurement performance and programme impact through two complementary advisory practices: procurement advisory and MEAL advisory.
Most firms specialise in one or the other. Kirona exists because, for public entities and donor-funded organisations in particular, the two questions arrive together: was the money spent compliantly, and did it deliver results? Our clients are usually judged on both, so we built a practice that answers both.
Our work combines practical implementation support, compliance knowledge and evidence-led decision-making for clients operating in South Africa and beyond — not slide decks for their own sake, but frameworks, tools and reports that hold up to a procurement audit or a donor review.
Practical over theoretical
Every engagement produces something usable: a policy, a framework, a dashboard, a compliant bid, not just a recommendation.
Compliance as the foundation
South African frameworks, from PFMA to POPIA, are built into the advice from the outset, not bolted on afterwards.
Evidence-led decisions
Recommendations are grounded in real spend data, indicator evidence and programme results, not assumptions.
One accountable partner
Where procurement and MEAL questions overlap, one team carries both, instead of two vendors talking past each other.
